46" LCD TV, 1080p, 120HZ.... Advice on technologies?
I was told by someone at PC Richards that the best brands are Sony, Samsung, and Sharp in that order for LCD TVs.
I'm looking right now for a deal on a 46" LCD TV, with 1080p, at 120HZ. Should I be putting any more specs on my requirements list? Like contrast ratio?
I am coming from an old Sony WEGA non-HD Tube TV, this sucker weighs like 170lbs, so I am hopeful to get this thing hauled out or donated or something.
I found deals on HDMI cables, so I have 4 of them ready, and I have an HD-ready cable box with the HDMI ports on them, so I guess I am set on that front.
The other question I have is on B&M vs online... Lets say I get a TV from amazon.com or walmart.com online... does anyone know if they will let me return it by them scheduling a pickup? Or will I always have to pack it all up, box it, and take it somewhere?
Any other advice on this would greatly be appreciated!
